This site was the brainchild of Nathan P., Owner and CEO of Fountainhead Graphics, an nk Marketing Group Company. Nathan, with his wife and son, moved to Chicago in 1997. One year later, the family moved again to the suburbs. Being new to the area made it a challenge to find a reliable source for recommended doctors and other healthcare providers.
In 2000, Nathan and his wife had a baby girl with Down Syndrome. Once again, they were faced with finding a specialist. They knew they not only wanted someone who could provide the special needs required for their daughter but also one that they felt they could build a relationship with in the long run. Fortunately, through rigorous research they found their connection.
In In the summer of 2006 IllinoisHealthcareProviders.com was developed to help others. IllinoisHealthcareProviders.com contains over 50,000 easy-to-find medical professionals in Illinois; from doctors to dentists, psychiatrists to sports medicine professionals, physical therapists to hospitals. It provides daily national health care news-feed and links to current streaming videos and articles written by healthcare professionals.
